Hellenikon Pyramid Hellenikon Pyramid

The "Pyramid" of Hellenikon is one of the most mysterious ancient sites in Greece. Actually, it is one of the forts that controlled the arterial roads and which are also known from Lefkakia and Ligourio. It is dated to the end of the 4th century BC.

The external walls rise with a gradient of 60° up to a height of 3,50 m. Actually, it never was a complete pyramid, but was truncated already in antiquity.
