Just a few hundred meters away from the Agia Marina church is the "Pyramid" of Ligourio. It needs a lot of imagination to perceive the scattered remains as the once pyramidal watch tower of the 5th century BC that formed a defensive system together with the better preserved tower at Kefalári ("Hellenikon") and three forts.
