Above from left to right: Octopus flask from Palaiokastro; clay vase with marine decoration. Dated to the Late Minoan I B period. - Ivory models of a bird and a house facade. Found in Knossos and dated to the Late Minoan period (16th century BC). - Gaming board of the Neopalatial period (ca. 1600 BC). This superb piece of art has an ivory frame inlaid with rock crystal, faience, lapis lazuli, gold and silver leafs. It was found in the East Wing at the palace of Knossos. |
