Left and below: In 2024 the museum hosted the temporary exhibition "Fragments" by Alexandra Athanassiades. The materials she employs in these works, namely wood and iron, are quite often random finds, acquiring substance, life and function. Her works of archetypal forms stand in the exhibition like ancestral figures, engaging in an intriguing dialogue with the museum exhibits as the figments of a "fragmented" memory.
