Near the entrance / exit of the site is a field with assorted architectural remains from the site. Usually visitors don't care about this part, and the guided tours don't come here - they sure miss something. There are ancient clay pipes, numerous Doric column drums and triglyphs very probably from one of the temples of Athena, and even a statue. |
