Chamber tomb 9 lies in a quite densely packed area of the Mycenaean cemetery. It has the longest dromos with 14 m. Its peculiarity is a large hole where the chamber of tomb 10 intersects its dromos on the left side. This is an accidental connection due to poor positioning of the neighbouring tombs. |

The interior of chamber tomb 9, measuring 4 x 5 m, again shows the appearance of the interior of a Mycenaean house with gable roof and even a ridge pole. The careful construction and the few retrieved grave goods that escaped the looting make it appear as the richest of the tombs in Aidonia, dated to the 15th-13th century BC. |

Weird things not only on the floor, but also on the ceiling (in 2018 and in 2021, respectively). Something like nests - but in a dark tomb? |
