GREECE PELOPONNESE ARGOLIS MYCENAE PERIPHERY

in the hills north of the acropolis

On tolerable dirt roads in the hills northeast of the acropolis of Mycenae. The area is seldom visited but full of Mycenaean chamber tombs and other remains, especially remains of a network of Mycenaean roads. Now and then there is some signage but seldom very clear.
