GREECE PELOPONNESE ARGOLIS FRANCHTHI MASIS

If you parked your car at the beach to visit Franchthi cave, you may want to visit another site - even if it is not so spectacular. Drive North along the beach to the next bay, turn inland there on a dirt track and you reach a small hill to your left. A short walk uphill brings you to a brown sign reading "Ancient Tower". The tower, a bit further up the hill, was used as a Macedonian watchtower and offers nice views to the bay of Koilada (ancient Masis).
