Usually the church is locked, but if you hang around long enough it may happen that somebody in the neighborhood sees you and comes around with the key. At least I had this luck in 2017. However, the interior of the church is really in a bad condition. The walls have been fully frescoed, probably much later than the erection of the church, but they have suffered considerable damage in the course of the centuries, rendering the wall paintings barely distinguishable in most parts of the interior. No efforts have been made to preserve them - and in any case you could probably just stop the further decay.
