GREECE ATTICA SARONIC ISLANDS METHANA

The oldest finds at the site are Middle Helladic so that we may assume that a settlement existed here already in the first half of the second millennium BC. The sanctuary, however, was only erected in Late Helladic IIIA (around 1400 BC) and abandoned ca. 1200 BC.

From the site the view reaches to the islands of Aegina, Agios Georgios, Poros and the south of Attica mainland.
