The Volimidia chamber tomb cemetery predominantly dates to the Mycenaean period, but it presents the longest, and one of the most complicated, case of tomb reuse in Greece. Five of the tombs yielded a total of one Protogeometric jug and 26 Late Geometric vases, indicating that the cemetery was used for burials over a period of many hundreds of years. |
