GREECE PELOPONNESE KORINTHIA KORAKOU

View from the ancient harbour of Lechaion to the hill of Korakou, where Carl Blegen in 1915 and 1916 excavated a Bronze Age settlement which proved to be of utmost importance for the history of archaeology. The investigated stratigraphy formed the basis for the formulation of the Bronze Age chronology of the Greek mainland coining the term Helladic.
