GREECE PELOPONNESE KORINTHIA EXAMILIA GONIA

Prehistoric Gonia lies on a plateau, 2 km north of Examilia. Carl Blegen excavated here in August 1916 and found houses and graves of all periods of the Bronze Age. The Greek Archaeological Service excavated again on the hill in 2003. - When I visited the site in September 2019 it was not sign-posted and there was practically nothing to see on the hill except some (newer) bones.
