Above: Looking over the remains of the ancient theatre to the Gulf of Corinth. The poorly preserved theatre goes back to the 5th century BC and in its final form during the Roman period with additional rows in the cavea it could probably seat up to 18'000 spectators. This makes it comparable in size to the great theatre of Epidaurus. - Below: Views of various building remains in the area of the theatre. |
