Below: The second tholos tomb of Tiryns lies hidden between the citrus trees only 50 m Southwest of the first one and is practically unknown to visitors. It was apparently discovered already in 1914. The Ephorate of Antiquities carried out a partial excavation in the 1980s. During my visits in 2018 and 2019 the dromos was so overgrown that it was impossible to enter. |
