GR PELOPONNESE ARGOLIS MONASTIRAKI MAGOULA

Southwest outside Monastiraki ("the little monk", named after a monk once living in a local cave) is the low mound known as Magoula, seen here from the West. - On the mound of Magoula remains of a Mycenaean settlement with walls and sherds have been found, but information is scanty.

Today there is only modern garbage and stones of unclear origin on the hill as well as a large number of sherds but the provenance is equally unclear.
