The Old Talantio Monastery lies about 1 km southeast of the village of Arachnaio next to the road to Ligourio. What remains of the monastery is the katholikon of the 14th or 15th century with an adjoining small chapel in the southeast, perhaps built slightly later. The katholikon was dedicated to the taxiarches, the Panagia and Agios Vlasios, whereas the chapel was dedicated to Agia Marina. |

The frescoes are not very well preserved. They are dated to the second half of the 16th century and show influences of the workshop of Theodosius Kakava in Nafplio. |
