Just outside the small village of Stadio, on the road to Lithovounia, a sign points to a 'Prehistoric Settlement'. From here it is only some 50 m to a little church next to the site. - The finds of Helladic sherds near the church led to the discovery of the settlement, excavated in 2007. It showed a continuous habitation from the Early Helladic period to the late Mycenaean with the main phase of use dating back to the Early Helladic and Middle Helladic period.

What can be seen? Some pits, inconspicuous foundations of buildings (with some imagination), partly covered by fragments of plastic sheets of the excavations. Something for specialists.
