GREECE PELOPONNESE ACHAIA PATRAS ACHAIA CLAUSS

Behind the wineyards of the famous Achaia Clauss winery N. Kyparrisis excavated 12 Mycenaean chamber tombs in the 1930s, a work that was resumed by the University of Ioannina in the 1990s. Alas, during my visit in 2021 I could only find the remains of one chamber tomb (at least it looks like one) hidden between the trees and bushes. There could be more, but it will be difficult to find them.
