GREECE PELOPONNESE ACHAIA PATRAS AQUEDUCT

During the Roman Period an aqueduct was built that led water from the springs of the Diakoniaris River 7 km to a big tank near the castle. There were built underground ducts as well as series of arcades, some of which are still standing to an impressive height.
