GREECE ATTICA ATHENS HADRIAN'S ARCH

"Hadrian's Arch" lies on an ancient street connecting the old city of Athens with the then new, Roman section. It was constructed as a Roman triumphal arch by the Athenians in AD 131, in honor of their benefactor, the Roman emperor Hadrian.
